Motivation Monday: Setting Intentions for 2020

We all know that I am a lover of all things goals and intentions in every area of life.

Not to mention the fact that I believe a thriving health, wellness, and fitness lifestyle has the power to propel you into daring bigger, finding more confidence, and living a more fulfilling and authentic life.

I wrote a detailed goal setting blog post, here, to help you create goals in a way that makes success inevitable. Click here for more.

This coming year is going to be full of change for T and me. We’ll be living abroad in a new country, at a new Air Force base, in a new culture, and learning more about how we can make ourselves and our relationship thrive in in this new phase of life at our first combat Air Force base.

Like I said before, I fully believe in the fact that living your healthiest lifestyle (mind, body, and soul) propels you into living more authentically, finding more joy, and living a full and joyous life. Health, wellness, and fitness will always be a passion of mine and the foundation of this blog. But it is so important to have goals and desires outside of that as well. As we head into 2020 I’m working hard to take full advantage of this incredible life experience and blessing that God has granted me. I haven’t quite yet determined my specific goals, but I wanted to share with you my intentions for the coming year, and where my goals will stem from.

My intentions for 2020:

  • Embrace new culture.

  • Travel far and travel often.

  • Have the year of “yes.”

  • Live more in the moment. (develop a stronger meditation practice to serve this)

  • Learn Italian. If you’re new here, I recently moved to Italy!

  • Learn from other military spouses who inspire me.

  • Continue my holistic health passion while traveling and in the world of carbs, wine, and gelato.

  • Learn to detach my worth from my accomplishments. Major key here…

  • Do more things simply for the fun of it.

  • Continue to grow my and Tyler’s relationship even more, making each year of marraige better than the last.

  • Deepen my faith.

  • Read more fiction.

All of these I know will help me grow into the person I was created to be at this time in my life. I can’t wait to continue to share with you my healthy lifestyle, and how that helps me in living these intentions this year!

What are your intentions for 2020? Let’s share and hold each other accountable! Always feel free to email me here if you’re looking for extra support and accountability. I am always here for you sister.
