Date Night Ideas!
Are you guys going out for Valentine’s Day or staying in this year?
We are headed to another town in our region for the weekend to pretty much eat and drink our way through the weekend!
I know a lot of us will be staying in, and have been. I wanted to share a few ideas for creative date nights that you can use for Valentine’s Day, or just a fun weekend!

Date Night In Ideas:
Build a fort in the middle of your living room.
Create a little movie night oasis with all of the blankets and pillow you have! Then head to the old interwebs and google the top 10 best romantic movies, pick one from that list to watch with your favorite bottle of wine!
Surprise Meal!
Make a three or four course mean and each take one or two courses. Don’t let your partner in on what you’re making and surprise each other! Make it all flow by picking a theme like Italian, Mexican, comfort food etc!
Game night olympics.
Make a list of 5 of your favorite games. Keep track of who wins each one and the loser makes the winner dinner! Hey look, I’m a poet and I didn’t even know it.
Look for constellations.
Set up some lawn chairs in the back year or out on the patio, bring blankets and hot chocolate if its cold out! Download Sky View in your app store and look for as many constellations and shooting starts as you can find.
Cocktail making contest.
Each make a cocktail or two and may the best bartender win!
At home brunch on the town.
Create a fun day date by making a full brunch! Head to Pinterest to look for some restaurant worthy brunch recipes, make some fresh juice to pour in your mimosa, and spice up your every day weekend breakfast!
Do a couples workout.
Make it a challenge! See who is fastest, strongest, or has the most endurance!
Recreate your first date.
I mean come on. How stinking cute! Try and recreate it all the way down to your outfit!
