Motivation Monday: Healthy Holiday Drink Recipes

What’s better than cozying up by a fireplace with your Christmas PJs on and watching a Christmas classic?

Adding a yummy healthified holiday inspired drink to that mix! What’s better than that? NOTHIN’ ladies and gents, nothin’. 

+I wanted to share with you 3 of my favorite easy peasy lemon squeezy drinks to enjoy this holiday season! 

Healthy hot chocolate 

This one is packed FULL of healthy fats to support healthy hormones, glowing hair and skin, and keep you full until your next meal! 

What you need:

  • 1 cup hot water 

  • ½ cup coconut milk (any milk of your choice will work)

  • 1.5 tbsp cacao powder 

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil 

  • 1 tsp maple syrup or coconut sugar

Combine the cocnut oil, cacao, syrup, and water in a mug and mix well.

Stir in warm almond milk and enjoy! 

Candy Cane Latte 

Peppermint flavored drinks will forever hold a special place in my heart! 

What you need:

Mix and enjoy!

Cranberry Mocktail Mule 

This one isn’t a hot one but it’s a fun drink to incorporate during the holidays in my opinion!

What you need:

  • 8 oz ginger kombucha (my favorite brand is health aide

  • 2 tbsp no sugar added, high quality cranberry juice 

  • 1 tbsp lime juice (or juice of one lime) 

Top with a mint leaf sprig and some fresh cranberries, serve in a mule mug
